The Washington State Community Airport Association encourages effective general aviation airport management through education, networking, semi-annual conferences and interaction with government agencies.

The Washington State Community Airport Association firmly supports:

•  Clarity with respect to the authority and jurisdiction of state and federal government agencies.

•  Simplicity of state and federal grants processes.

•  Reasonable applications of construction and design standards, which take into account the size, simplicity and use of community airports.

•  Local control of, and responsibility for, community airports.

•  That all airports, no matter how small or remote, are significant to the statewide airport system.
